The Jan Companies has and always will be driven to make a difference in the communities in which we operate. The Jan Companies’ New England restaurants have participated in The Jimmy Fund’s “A Chance For Kids & Families” promotion every summer since 2001 and have raised close to $2.5 million dollars for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The Newport Creamery restaurants have raised thousands of dollars with the Celebrity Scoop events that occur yearly as the launch to Awful Awful Mondays. Newport Creamery has worked closely with the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State among others. The Jan Companies has worked with our community partners on creating exceptional auction items for charity benefits, worked with Blood Banks for blood drives and done community work with our local schools. We are committed to making a difference in the community.
